Why convert to JPG?

JPG is universally supported — every browser, OS, social network and email client accepts it without blinking. When compatibility matters, JPG is the safe choice.

What happens to transparent areas?

JPG doesn't support an alpha channel, so transparent pixels (from PNG, WebP, AVIF, SVG) get filled with the background color you choose. Default is white.

Is conversion lossless?

JPG is lossy by design. At quality 85+ the difference from the original is virtually invisible to the human eye, but it's not guaranteed to be pixel-perfect.

Does it work with HEIC, RAW, PSD and SVG?

Yes. HEIC (iPhone), RAW (Sony, Canon, Nikon), PSD (Photoshop) and SVG (vector) all come in fine and come out as standard JPG — no codecs to install, no heavy programs to open.
