Why would I resize an image?
To match a specific size requirement (web layout, social media post, print resolution) or to reduce its dimensions for faster loading and less storage.
Will quality be lost when resizing?
Reducing dimensions is mostly lossless visually — pixels are sampled smoothly. Enlarging beyond the original size requires our upscale tool to avoid pixelation.
Does it maintain the aspect ratio?
By default, yes. The aspect lock keeps your image proportional. You can unlock it for freeform stretching when you need it.
Resize vs compress — what's the difference?
Resize changes the dimensions (W × H). Compress reduces the file size while keeping the dimensions. They work great together.
